...found at the point where communication meets innovation. Through studying professional writing and entrepreneurship at Miami Univer- sity, I have found that these are two key ingredients to growth, both personally and professionally. Applying these skills during my studies, especially in team settings, has made me passionate about creating connections, telling stories, and finding the best right answer for the task athand.
Communication
Professional writing has allowed me to explore different facets of communication; digital, strategic, visual, written, verbal to name a few. This has become the groundwork for my other areas of study and allows me to connect others, ideas, and concepts together in ways that can innovate and inspire.

Innovation
Entrepreneurship has taught me how to effectively use creativity to create meaningful change for a client, a business, and myself. It allowed me to use interdisciplinary skills to participate in team projects and consulting work. Through the program, I found my leadership style, co-founded an organization on campus, and learned that everything you do makes a statement.
Through these fields, I've gotten the chance to join together a variety of different disciplines which has allowed me to explore my different interests while making me capable of adjusting to a wide range of tasks and environments.
